Day 03 Cochin – Munnar (By Surface)
Morning city tour of Cochin visiting Jewish synagogue – the oldest synagogue in the entire commonwealth, St. Francis Church, St. Mary’s Cathedral, Cochin Harbour, Terminus, Chinese Fishing Nets, Mattancherry Dutch Palace built by the Portuguese is known for its murals depicting scenes from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata and dresses and palanquins used by Cochin’s erstwhile rulers.
Later leave by surface for Munnar the South India's coolest tourist destination and the Honeymooner's Paradise. Munnar meaning "Three rivers" is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams Muthirappu (Kannimalayar), Nallathanni and Kundala and is a delightful, small hill station. Munnar was the summer resort of the British Government in the south. Munnar has some of the biggest tea plantations in the world

Morning go for sightseeing of Munnar visiting the : --
Mettupatty dam - Mettupetty is situated at a height of 1700 m above sea level. Mattupetty Lake and Dam is a beautiful picnic spot with the panoramic view of the tea plantations and the lake. Boating facilities are available in the reservoir. Mattupetty is also well known for its highly specialized dairyfarm - the Indo-Swisss Live Stock project. The Shola forests in and around Mattupetty are ideal for trekking and are habitat to a variety of birds. Rivulets and cascades crisscross the terrain here, which again adds more attraction to the place.
Eravikulam national park - A sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgiri Tahr ( Hemitragus hylocrious), the Eravikulam National Park stands out for the stark beauty of its rolling grasslands and sholas, spread over 97 sq km in the Rajamalai hills
