Upon arrival in Calcutta Airport you are met and transferred to your pre booked Hotel.
Half city tour of Calcutta includes visit to the Fort William, Victoria memorial, the Indian museum , St Paul’s cathedral , Birla Planetarium and the Botanical gardens.
Today we are transferred to the Calcutta airport to take flight to Bagdogra. Upon arrival in Bagdogra we drive to “ Queens of Hills “ Darjeeling through forest and Tea Plantations. You are likely to see famous Himalayan Toy Train on this drive as it chugs uphill. Check – in at Hotel.

Day 03 Darjeeling
Early Morning drive to Tiger Hills to see Sunrise. On the return Journeys Visit Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. Return to Hotel.Breakfast. Darjeeling sightseeing. Visit Himalayan Mountaineering Institute, Himalayan Zoological Park, Observatory Hill, Refugee Self Help center, and view point. Evening walk around town.

Day 04 Darjeeling
Toy Train ride and Tea Garden tour to witness the manufacturing process in the factory.

Day 05 Darjelling to Pemayangtse (by surface)
Drive to pemayangtse through Melli check post, Jorethang ( gateway to south and west sikkim ) and legship. Check – in at Hotel. Visit pemayangtse Monastery and Rabdentse Palace ruins. Evening walk around small town and quiet village area.

Day 06 Pemayangtse to Yuksam (by surface)
Full day excursion to khechopalri lake and Yuksam, the first capital of Sikkim, Where the first coronation has taken place, Return to Hotel.

Day 07 Yuksam to Gangtok (by Surface)
Drive to gangtok 5 – 6 hrs Via Legship, Kewzing and singtam. Check In at Hotel. Evening walk around town.

Day 08 Gantok
Early Morning drive to Tashi view point to see sunrise. Return to hotel for breakfast. Gangtok sightseeing. Gangtok, capital of sikkim , meaning ‘ Hill Top ‘ was established in 1716 A.D. Interesting sightseeing areas are Enchay Monastery ( 212 years old ) built on a site blessed by Lama Druptab Karpo, a tantric manster known for his power of flying. Research institute of Tibetology, Chorten etc. Afternoon visit to Rumtek Monastery ( 24 Km ). First built in 1717 A.D. It was rebuilt by His Holiness Gyalwa Karmapa of Kagyupa Sect, the 16th. Incarnation. Since his death in 1982, the devotees waited for fifteen years to discover the 17th. Incarnate in Tibet. He is in India, but yet to come to his Monastery in Sikkim. The style of the monastery is traditional, a copy of its Tibetan origin. Evening Free.

Day 09 Gangtok – Kalimpong (By Surface)
Drive to kalimpong ( 75 km ) 3 hrs drive. Check – in Hotel. Once an active focal point of Tibetan trade. Kalimpong is deal holiday town, mostly because of its balmy climate throughout the year. One can laze around in the tranquility or go souvenir hunting at the market
Half day sightseeing visit Universal Nurseries where cactus, orchids and amaryllis are grown, the New Buddhist Monastery Zand – Zog – Plarifo, the old town and the market.

Day 10 Kalimpong - Phuntsholing (By Surface)
After breakfast we drive from Kalimpong to the Bhutanese border town of Phuntsholing. Phuntsholing, a small town on the India/ Bhutan Border. En route, see occasional finely- crafted Bhutanese houses or the red band and spire o denoting a temple in the distance. Clusters of Prayer flags wave on lonely hillsides, placed there by devotees. Stop at the beautiful Kharbandi Gompa, a monastery situated in tropical gardens, Later this evening walk along the Phuntsholing Bazaar.

Day 11 Phuntsholing – Thimpu (by Surface)
After breakfast we continue your exploration of Bhutan by road to and you are driven through spectacular mountain views and peaceful countryside to Thimpu, Bhutan’s capital. En route, visit a Bhutanese farmhouse, traditionally built entirely without nails. Your tour of Thimphu includes the Simtokha Dzong, the oldest fortress of its 1627. It now houses the Dzongkha Language and Religion University. Protection of their unique and precious heritage in this last remaining stronghold of Himalayan. Buddhism is now a priority of the government. Also visit the great Tashichho-Dzong – or Fortress of the Glorious Religion – the Center of Government and religion. Stroll to Changgankha Monastery, and visit the handicrafts emporium to shop where a wealth of artistic skills is displayed.

Day 12 Thimpu – Paro (By Surface)
This hidden treasure of the Himalayas, known as The Dragon Kingdom, is still home to an ancient style of life. Remote, mysterious and truly special, Bhutan’s pure and genuine cultural heritage is a priceless gem in the treasure – house of the subcontinent. The beautiful terraced valley where the medieval town of Paro nestles is home to many of Bhutan’s oldest temples and Dzongs. These are centuries – old cultural treasures and works of art. Visit Parl Market and town this evening. A stroll down Main Street is a very pleasant experience.

Day 13 Paro
Our Tour of Paro starts with a drive to view the Takstang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest) from a distance. Later visit Kila Gompa. Afternoon visit the Ta Dzong Fort. Now the National Museum of Bhutan which displays antique thankha paintings, textiles, weapons and a very interesting collection of postage stamps. Later drive to the Rinpung Dzong built during the 17th century. Which is now used as an administration centre and school for monks.

Day 14 Paro- Calcutta ( by flight)
Today morning we are transferred to the airport to board our flight for Calcutta. Upon arrival at Calcutta we are met and transferred to our pre booked hotel.

Today you are transferred to Calcutta Airport to board flight for onward Journey.
